Brighton have made history.

Brighton drew 1-1 at home against Manchester City in the 37th round of the 2022-23 English Premier League on Monday (Sept. 29) at the American Express Community Stadium in Brighton, England.

The draw keeps Brighton in sixth place in the Premier League with 62 points. They are now four points behind seventh-place Aston Villa (58). This is Brighton’s sixth win of the season.

Brighton will compete in the UEFA Europa League for the first time in the club’s history. Founded in 1901, Brighton joined the Premier League in 2017 after 34 years. Since then, the Seagulls have gone from strength to strength to reach European competition.

It was Foden who opened the scoring. Elling Holland drew the goalkeeper’s attention with a move before crossing for Foden, who cut in from behind and slotted the ball home perfectly.

From there, it was all Brighton. In the 38th minute, Enciso picked up the ball outside the box and wasted no time in unleashing a perfect strike.먹튀검증

The tension continued into the second half. In the 14th minute of the second half, Manchester City had a great chance when Kyle Walker had a chance from a free kick but couldn’t finish. Brighton also had a shot on goal from Kaoru Mitoma, but it didn’t go in.

It was a day of scoring and chances being canceled out. In the 33rd minute of the second half, Manchester City had a frustrating moment. A cross from the left was headed home by Holland and rattled the net, but the goal was disallowed after VAR showed that a defender pulled on the jersey.

Manchester City pushed forward in search of a second goal, but it was not to be. Brighton defended their lead at home and held on for a draw. In the end, the Seagulls made Europa League history with a point.
