LG Austin was responsible for an error that led to a first-inning run.
LG won the first game of a doubleheader against SSG in the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL KBO League 8-3 on Sunday afternoon at Jamsil Baseball Stadium in Seoul.

LG’s Go Woo-seok came on with runners on first and second and third in the bottom of the eighth and got out of the jam by striking out Kim Kang-min and getting Choo Shin-soo to fly out to center field. LG starter Lee Jung-yong allowed three runs (one earned) on six hits with three walks and one strikeout in five innings, while Go earned his 14th save of the season.
LG Austin hit a one-run home run off Kim Kwang-hyun in the bottom of the fourth inning, his 19th home run of the season. Kim Hyun-soo’s RBI double in the sixth inning gave him 3,400 career RBIs, making him the eighth player in KBO history to reach the milestone.
