With Ange Postecoglou, 57, taking the helm at Tottenham, ‘Son Heung-min’s team’, the question is who will be the next Celtic boss?
Shortly after Postecoglou’s appointment to Tottenham became official, the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) published a list of potential candidates for Celtic’s new manager. Most of them are familiar faces.
The publication mentioned three managers. They are former Chelsea manager Graham Potter, West Ham manager David Moyes, and former Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers.
Porter exploded onto the scene with Brighton after raising their profile in the Swedish league. However, he was sacked by Chelsea in April after less than a year in charge due to poor results.
Moyes, who has also worked at Everton and Manchester United, is currently in a precarious position at West Ham. Last season, the Hammers finished 14th in the league.
That could change if the Hammers win the Europa League final against Fiorentina on Sunday, giving them their first major trophy in 43 years.
Rodgers was previously in charge of Celtic from 2016 to 2019. After stints at Swansea City and Liverpool, Rodgers was sacked by Leicester midway through last season as the Foxes suffered relegation.
Oh joined Celtic in January after being recruited by Postecoglou and quickly settled in, exploding for six goals in the Scottish Premiership in the second half of the season.먹튀검증
The team won the league, as well as the Scottish Cup and FA Cup, completing the ‘Domestic Treble’.
Oh returned home on the fifth, in good spirits. A day later, however, he learned of Postecoglu’s departure. The team had the task of adjusting to the new coach’s style of play on the upcoming Asian tour.
