Asia’s largest organization, ONE Championship, will present a match between a mixed martial arts champion and a world-class grappler.

On the 7th, the One Championship was held on the 7th, “Mixed Martial Arts Middleweight Champion Rainier The Leader (32, Netherlands) competed with 2022 International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJFF) World Championship -76kg runner-up Tai Luotolo (20, USA) at ONE Fight Night 10 confrontation,” he announced.

‘ONE Fight Night 10’ will be held at the First Bank Center (capacity: 6,500) in Broomfield, Colorado, USA on May 6 (Korean time). One Championship is the first US numbering (highest level) competition.

ONE Fight Night 10 main card schedule will be aligned so that it can be watched live on the global OTT service ‘Amazon Prime Video’ from 8:00 pm on May 5 in New York, USA.

The Leader and Tai Ruotolo will face each other under the rules of ‘Submission Grappling Super Fight’. If you do not surrender with a chore or a joint for 12 minutes, it ends in a draw.

Tai Luo Tolo is the twin brother of One Championship lightweight grappling champion Cade Luo Tolo. At the ADCC Submission Fighting World Championships last year, he won a bronze medal in the unrestricted class.

This is the third time Thai Luotolo will participate in the One Championship Submission Grappling Superfight. He beat Gary Tonon (31, USA) in May 2022 and Marat Gafurov (38, Russia) in December.

In the mixed martial arts lightweight division, Tonon is a one-championship title challenger and Gafurov is a former champion. Ty Ruotolo defeated Tonon with the choke technique ‘Darth Choke’ and Gafurov with the joint technique ‘Listlock’. 안전놀이터

Although The Leader is said to be a black belt in judo and jiu-jitsu, it is clear that he is inferior in detailed ground technique compared to Thai Luotolo. Therefore, if you do not surrender, you fight with a submission grappling super fight that can be drawn.

In March of last year, The Leader overturned expectations in a submission grappling super fight with Andre Gaubang (40, Brazil), who won the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship 10 times, and endured for 12 minutes to draw.

Andre Gaubang is a grappling teacher who promoted Thai Luotolo to a Jiu-Jitsu black belt in December 2021. The disciple said, “There is a difference in weight and physique, but I am confident that I can subdue The Leader.”
