Samsung Lions outfielder Kim Hyun-jun gave a young fan a touching and unforgettable moment.
At the Changwon NC game on March 21, Kim signed his batting glove and handed it to a young fan who had nowhere else to get an autograph. His heartfelt fan service quickly spread across social media and the baseball community.
“All the other fans were getting autographs, but (the young fan) said there was nowhere to get an autograph, so I said, ‘Please sign it next time,’ but I didn’t know when I would see him next, so I gave him the glove I was wearing,” Kim said on Lions TV, the club’s official YouTube channel.먹튀검증
When asked if he suddenly realized that he should sign the glove, he wittily replied, “It was a spur-of-the-moment thing.”
When asked about the fact that giving the glove to a young fan has become a hot topic on social media and in the baseball community, Kim said, “I don’t think it’s a hot topic. I think I did what I was supposed to do,” he said.
If the same situation came up again, Kim’s choice would be the same. “I can always give the gloves,” he says.
