The Los Angeles Lakers (hereafter referred to as the Lakers) are once again looking for a player in the guard position.

Journalist Christine Pick of Yahoo Sports reported on the morning of the 6th (Korean time) that Tyler Dorsey (26, Greece) had a workout in front of Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka and coach Davin Hamm.

Workout is a kind of mock test conducted by NBA clubs themselves. Skills are tested through workouts, and personality is evaluated through interviews. And the NBA can sign a 10-day contract starting today.

Earlier on the 5th, Eurohoop reported that Dorsey was preparing for the season in order to sign a 10-day contract with an NBA club.

Dorsey is 6-foot-5, 183 pounds (196 cm, 83 kg) and can play at the shooting guard position. Dorsey was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 41st overall pick in the 2017 draft. After moving to the Memphis Grizzlies, he entered the European League.

Dorsey joined the Dallas Mavericks after winning the Greek League Champion, Greek Cup and Greek Cup MVP last year with Olympiacos after making a team in Europe스포츠토토. He played just three games for Dallas and 17 for the Texas Legends, a G-League team affiliated with Dallas.

Dorsey played an average of 32.5 minutes for the Texas Legends, averaging 24.4 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists, with a field goal success rate of 46.4% (15.7 attempts) and a 3-point success rate of 47% (3.7 attempts).

However, the Lakers already have a lot of players at guard on their roster, including Russell Westbrook, Dennis Schroeder, Patrick Beverly, Kendrick Nunn, Ronnie Walker IV, Austin Reeves and two-way contract Scottie Pippen Jr.

Meanwhile, Lakers fans who heard the news of Dorsey’s workout said, “Are you a guard again? Doesn’t he have a guard fetish?”, “He’s a pure shooter”, “Dolsey is a good player. But we need a wing.”
