Reporter Kwon Hyeok-joon = LIV golf players will be able to participate in all four major men’s golf tournaments starting this year.

The PGA of America, which hosts the PGA Championship, announced the qualifications for this year’s tournament on the 24th (Korean time). The association did not add a provision here, such as excluding players belonging to a specific group, such as Liv, from participating.

“We’ve just taken that as a guideline on how to host the best competitions,” the association explained.

Previously, the American Professional Golf (PGA) Tour issued a disciplinary action by banning them from participating in PGA tournaments when Liv Golf, which was launched in June of last year, recruited a large number of PGA players.

However, in the case of major tournaments, there was no way to control the players as they were not supervised by the PGA Tour, and Liv players participated without any problems in the major tournaments held last year.

The last tournament was held in May, before the launch of the PGA Championship. This is the first time that Liv players have decided whether or not to participate. 먹튀검증

Like other tournaments, as the PGA Championship allows Liv players to participate, Liv players can participate in all four major tournaments as long as they qualify.

Qualifications for the PGA Championship include top ranked players in the world rankings, former PGA Championship winners, major tournament winners within the last five years, and last year’s PGA Championship top 15 winners.

In Live Golf, Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed (above), Martin Kaymer (Germany), and Cameron Smith (Australia) are all eligible to compete in the PGA Championship this year.

This year’s PGA Championship will be held at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, New York, USA for four days from May 19th.
