NC Dinos veteran outfielder Gun-woo Park (33) has been removed from the active roster.
The Dinos designated Park for assignment after three days without a professional baseball game.
Park, who was drafted by the Doosan Bears in the second round (10th overall) of the 2009 First-Year Player Draft, has been playing for the NC since the 2022 season. In 1037 professional games through last year, he hit .327 with 98 home runs, 539 RBIs and 85 stolen bases.
Park has made a name for himself this season. As of March 3, he was batting .286 with seven home runs, 41 RBIs, and six doubles in 69 games, making him an integral part of the NC offense. In the team’s 0-5 loss to the Suwon KT Wiz the previous day (Feb. 2), Park was the lone bright spot, going 2-for-4 with a double.
An NC official who spoke to reporters said, “It’s not a matter of injury or physical condition. There is no special incident or accident issue.” In the end, the exact reason for his sudden move to the second team was not clear. Eventually, the exact reason will be revealed at NC coach Kang In-hwa’s pre-match briefing on April 4 against the Gochuk Kiwoom Heroes.토스카지노
Meanwhile, NC, which struggled to win 1-4 over the past week due to the departure of starting players, will play a three-game series against Kiwoom in Gocheok on the 4th. Then, on the 7th, the team will turn things around against the Samsung Lions at Changwon NC Park. Lee Jun-ho will be the starter on the 4th, while Kiwoom will counter with Ahn Woo-jin.
